An outlet mall in Southern California was full of shoppers, entering and exiting the various stores. As groups of people left the food court around lunch hour, they sipped their coffee. Once they finished their drinks, despite the nearby trash cans, they dropped their cups onto the ground and casually walked off. This is simply one example of littering in our society, but if this issue is not resolved, the ecosystem will suffer greatly.
