I thought this book was amazing! I have to admit, it was cliche and the characters were extremely mainstream. It was like any other romance book, but it definitely delivered. When I was searching for a book, I was searching for a romantic, drama filled, teenage love story and that is exactly what I got. It may not have been the best book for every reader out there, but for what I like reading, it gave what it promised.

I know that people are saying that it was a total cliche, but it was a cliche done right. The characters were typical, however it had an interesting twist on them. Usually in this type of story, the sought after playboy doesn't feel any remorse when he is going after what he wants (which is the hot girl of the school), however this one did. He felt guilty after abandoning the best friend for the

Many of the main characters in books like this would do anything and everything to get the boy of their dreams, however, in this book she put her friendships before her own romantic needs. Although this was frustrating at certain points in the book and it wasn’t always the best choice for the book, I like how the character is constant. She isn’t switching her views because the plot advancement demands it. The author found ways to work around the viewpoints that she assigned the character. Also the viewpoint of the character is reasonable and respectable. In the story she isn’t making choices that wouldn’t make any sense to the reader, but instead she is making choices that make sense with her mindset.

In conclusion, although “Must Date the Playboy” isn’t the best book technically, it definitely delivers on what the genre promises while added small twists. Also the characters are very pleasing to the readers. They are extremely relatable (on the teenager level, not the being rich level) and they make sense. I would recommend this book to other young adult romantic

and I loved it. There were lots of things that I liked about the book, the part where Elliot is in the forest and Alexis is trying to stop her from walking because she was going to kill herself, that was interesting. The story was not believable because you don’t hear these kind of things. There wasn’t much that I didn’t like about the book. The story wasn’t predictable because it would be a mystery of what would happen…

Luke LaValle Mr. Zeigler Honors British Literature Lady Bracknell; The Unlikely Mother-in-Law “You can hardly imagine that I and Lord Bracknell would dream of allowing our only daughter—a girl brought up with the utmost care—to marry into a cloak-room, and form an alliance with a parcel? Overall I think the book was good and I would recommend it to a friend because I found the book very intense especially at the end it got very intense when Sam made his promposal to Brooke it got very intense because the whole book was leading up to that certain moment and reading got really intense. But one thing I think was really bad was the ending I think the end could have been better. I think Eric Walters should have left the book on a cliff hanger and should have made a sequel to the book because if he did that then I would read the sequel. If I was Eric Walters I would make a whole series of these kind of book because I overall enjoyed the book and would prefer if he made another book or two I think he could make a lot of money and get a lot of new readers and inspire them to make…

Laurie Halse Anderson uses simplified diction to give the reader a better understanding of Melinda's stream of conscious. Contrary to the title Speak, there is not a great deal of dialogue in the passage, let alone in the novel. Instead, Anderson uses this simplistic approach to give us insight to both the raw emotions of Melinda, as well as the events that take place. In the passage, Anderson uses this transparent writing style to convey the immediate struggle Melinda had in finding a group to fit in with in high school. Melinda's first interaction with the party scene of high school was clouded with peer pressure “Rachel found a way to fit in, of course.…

Infidelity in cinema is nothing new. Much like the boiling conflicts of war or the inevitable fissures of generations old and new, the inherent drama of infidelity has always been one of those clear cut and elemental driving forces that has the immediacy to color an entire movie. Reaction to it is almost automatic and the story, depending on who's telling it always seems to virtually write itself. Yet in the case of The Lovers, infidelity is less the flash of conflict as it is the strangely reserved starting point to a story about human peculiarities.…
