Piatti-Tubens also mentioned that she has to ask her coworkers and her bosses a lot of questions. She says that sometimes she feels bad asking for help, but realizes that they may have been in the same situation as her when they were first employed. Ms. Piatti-Tubens also noted that some of the questions are getting easy to answer because she has answered them so often. She says that questions are asked about all types of things and in different forms. Questions are asked over email, over the phone, and also in person, and for each of these, Ms. Piatti-Tubens sometimes struggles with answering them. Such questions include but are not limited to; Did my FAFSA go through? How do I pay or handle the rest of my balance? Does the FAFSA apply to winter and summer classes? These questions all seem basic and common questions, but they are difficult to explain to different types of people. She stated that most calls and emails are about loans such as applying, accepting, and declining loans. Some questions are more difficult and direct for her to answer, such as; If I were to withdraw from Ramapo, what happens to my financial aid? Other questions regarding financial aid include questions about study abroad. Study abroad is very common at Ramapo, and financial aid can be applied to a study abroad program. Piatti-Tubens faces many on the job issues, they will almost all be fixed when she becomes more skilled and more experienced with the everyday tasks she needs to perform. With time, she will be able to answer and return calls, answer emails, and understand how to answer questions from all age groups, with confidence and understanding. She also mentioned that one of the most frustrating things about her job is people coming in the office and questioning her on why they got letters in the mail that were already declined. She said this is frustrating because it happens to her quite often and she has to constantly tell people that the state is behind in forms, but it is updated through Ramapo College. Although she will become very experienced with some questions, she may need assistance on others. With time she will pick up all the skills and knowledge that she will need, and help the new employees by teaching them all that she
