When we examine assault specific statistics it shows that women ages 15-44 are more likely to be assaulted as well as they’re most likely to be assaulted by a family member. A male experiences his highest chances of being assaulted in the same age category; however, he is most likely to be assaulted by a stranger; which is a representation of the fighting culture of young males.
