There are many different types of sexual abuse agencies in America. The one that I am highlighting today is the Center for Healing Hearts and Spirts. The agency is in Little Rock, Arkansas. They provide many types of services to not only sexual abuse victims but also, other types of victims. They offer VOCA-Victim services, Rape Crisis programs, Sexual Assault Awareness, Emergency Domestic Violence Shelter Services, Youth and Homeless Outreach, Tobacco Prevention, and Underage Drinking. They also provide education about victimization and have an outreach program to help those who need it. The services that the center offers to help diverse types of people

They have many kinds of clients from several types of crimes. Victims of Child abuse, Sexual Abuse, General Assault, Sexual Assault, Rape, Victims’ Family of Homicide and Suicide, Chromic Ill Individuals, Parenting Teens, Prospective Youth Offenders, and Young Adult at High-Risk. They provide services to many kinds of people from all walks of life. The center offers a program for victims of rape a program to help them cope with the trauma of the crime that was committed. This program the center provides, support groups of victims of rape and assist with hospital emergency room visits. They meet all the victims needs by giving every one of the victims the support and services that they are entitled to receiving. They want to bring the criminals to justice and focus on the healing of the victim of the crime and the families of the victim. Crime plays a huge role on the victim and their family. Victims of crime can change their daily routine actives; have every expensive medical costs, and emotional trauma. The court costs can be a struggle too and going through the Criminal Justice system can be very difficult for victims. The victim may always afraid of other people; additional, they may be confused by why it might have happened to them. The victim also, may have to see medical professionals for psychological trauma. They may not be able to sleep at night, loss their job or not go to work at …show more content…
They can email them, call them, fax them, or just show up at the center. A victim can also, get help from a blog, Facebook, or use Twitter. The victim or the victim’s family can get through the center and receive the services that are offered by the agency. If a person wanted to donate to the cause of helping Victims. They can donate to the website for Healing Hearts and Spirts. They also, offer a volunteer position for those who want to help with the center for Healing Hearts and Spirts. They can volunteer for at least two hours a month at the
