Vic's Character Comparison Of Characters

Decent Essays
Although I have many similarities with all the character presented, the character I most identify with is Vic. Vic is one who is eager to try new things and just get out and adventure. Vic can be interpreted as outgoing and wanting to be where the action is, seeing as he made it a mission to go to Allison’s party. In personality terms, I also love being social and interacting with many people. When I first came to college, I made it a goal to be very involved and do as much as a can. My best friend, Lauren, on the other hand is quite shy and parties aren’t really her scene. My first week of college I was invited to this huge house party, where I thought it would be fun to bring Lauren with me to get her to socialize. It took quite a bit of convincing but …show more content…
Also, Vic parted with Enn in hopes of Enn getting the chance to open up. Although my reasoning wasn’t the same as Vic’s, Lauren and I did split up just as Vic and Enn did almost immediately. The biggest similarity I can clearly see between Vic and I is we both don’t like to own up to our mistakes. At the end of the party, Vic quickly realized that all these girls aren’t who they say they are. I can’t personally relate to Vic’s specific circumstance, but I can relate to the fact that even though he knew he made a mistake by going to this party, he never truly owned up to it. I personally am very stubborn and if there’s something I hate most in life, it’s admitting when I’m wrong. Vic never owned up to his mistake, nor did he specifically tell Enn all the intel he gathered that evening. From the ending, one can only assume Vic never owned up to what happened that night, and even cut ties with Enn. While I wouldn’t ruin relationships due to my stubbornness, I would find it very hard to admit such a big mistake. I see a lot of similarities with myself and Gaiman’s character

Despite when speaking of fictional characters who are most like me, I believe three come to mind these three characters represent me as a person in different ways.
