Vicky Lynn Sparks (AKA Dennison) was born 12/15/1963 to Phillip Gary Dennison and Frances Irene (AKA Rice) Dennison at Staunton Hospital in Staunton, Illinois. Vicky grew up in Granite City, Illinois. Vicky's parents were married almost 53 years in December 29. Vicky’s father died on December 9, 2015. Her mother is still living and resides in Highland, Illinois. Vicky had a wonderful relationship with her with both parents. She stated she loved them very much. When Vicky was disciplined she said her parents would talk to them and try to understand why they did whatever it was and would ask them what they should have done differently. She said they would lose privileges such as going to movies or playing with friends.

She was married on October 25th, 1987 to James Emmitt O’ Brian and divorced in February of 1996. Their divorce was due to irreconcilable differences. Vicky said that they did not share the same values nor did they have the same goals. Vicky has two children from her first marriage to James Emmitt O’ Brian. They are James Emmitt O’Brian who was born on 10-23-1988; and Stephanie Irene O’Brian who was born on 6-17-1990. Her second marriage was to Samson Sparks. Samson and Vicky were married on July 1, 1996 at the “Little Chapel of the Flowers” in Las Vegas, Nevada. Vicky and Sam met through family. Sam’s sister-in- law, Susan, who Vicky knew since 6th grade introduced them when they went to see to Sam’s new nephew. They have been together ever since. Vicky stated their marriage is very strong. They support each other and work together as a team. They make joint decisions. They share the same goals and love each other very much. They have strong family values. Sam and Vicky have one daughter born of this union she is, Haley Lynn Sparks and was born on 1-28-2000. Haley is in 10th grade at Edwardsville High School. She lives at home and has no developmental or emotional issues. Haley loves to play basketball, loves to watch sports with her father. Go shopping and being with family and friends. Their bills are as follows: utilities $280 a month, water/trash/sewer $80 a month, groceries $800 monthly, insurance $225 monthly, phone $185 monthly, and prescription medication $100 monthly. They divide the remainder of their monthly income between recreational activites and savings. Vicky does not expect any financial complications in adoption Madison. She plans on keeping the medical card for Madison after the adoption is finalized.
Vicky does not have any substance abuse issues. She denies any mental or medical health issues. Shelly has been diagnosed with acid reflux, hypothyroid, and tension head-aches. Vicky sees her doctor regularly when she is ill.
Vicky is 5’9” tall and weighs 200 lbs. She has blond hair and blue eyes. Vicky enjoys being with her family and going shopping with her daughters. She enjoys doing things with her family like going swimming and Six Flags. She attends church at 1st Baptist Church in Highland, Illinois. She goes occasionally since she works on Sundays. She states she has no criminal history. She has a good reputation in the community.
