Today we’re are headed up to Vicksburg. Mama’s a little nervous about Papa, Mr. Morrison, and I going there. But Papa says we got to do what we got to do. What is there to worry about anyways? As long as we got Mr. Morrison those Wallace’s shouldn’t hurt us. Just because 7 families aren’t going to their store anymore doesn’t give them a right to be mad at us. They put this on themselves. Looks like we are just heading out to Vicksburg right now.

This is one of the most boring rides I’ve been on. There’s absolutely nothing to do. Mr. Morrison just said he spotted some people behind us and they’ve been following us for a while.
