Vickie and Richard Brown are the preadoptive parents of Antonio. They live in Alton, Illinois. Alton is a city in Madison County. It is on the Mississippi River and about 15 miles north of St. Louis, Missouri. The 2010 census listed the city's population at 27,865. It is part of the Metro-Est region of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area in Southern Illinois. It is famous for its limestone bluffs along the river north of the city, and as the hometown of jazz musician, Miles Davis and Robert Wadlow, the tallest known person in history. They are Tenishia Phillips, born 8/7/1997 and Ericka Brown, born 11/11/00. Tenishia is Antonio's older sister. She attends Lewis and Clark College and doing well in college. Tenishia has no medical health, mental health, or substance abuse issues. Tenishia is in agreement with the adoption of Antonio. Ericka is in the 9th grade at Alton High School. She is an A/B student and part of the Upward Bound Program. She has no medical health, mental health, or substance abuse issues. Ericka enjoys reading. She is in agreement with the adoption of Antonio. She cares deeply for him. Vickie and Richard are currently married. They met through a mutual friend. On April 9th, 1995, Vickie and Richard got married in their church, Church of the Living God, in Venice, Illinois. Vickie and Richard have one daughter together, Ericka Brown, age 15. Vickie and Richard have been married 21 years. She states not everyday has been easy, but every moment has been great. They have learned to be open and to discuss everything with each other. They have grown together.
