1.Situation Analysis:
1.1 About the Company (VIBE)

Sam started a company Vibe. Vibe deals in marketing, public relations and web design business from last 10 years. Sam was the one responsible for the growth and day-to-day activities of the Vibe. Sam thinks that his business has got good vibe overall till now. Problems are started after 10 years and will be discussed in the next point.
1.2 Problem in the company:

Andrea had been with the company since the beginning. She is highly skilled and get along with team members very well. She gets paid very well with benefits. Sam’s only criticism of her was that she seemed to live to work but then she gets excellent salary and benefits.

According to my understanding as Sam stated that job sharing was inefficient as it is not good for the business and it could be seen as discrimination towards gender and family responsibilities. Sam’s decision leads to unintentional discrimination.
• As team leader job require long hours and small amount of interstate and Asian travel so it was not possible from Sarah and Julie. Sam had to look at all the pros and cons before hiring any one for the manger position. Grant pros are technically skilled and 2 years with the Vibe. His Cons are he had poor relationship skills. Sarah and Julie pros are hard worker and good relationship skill with the staff and customers. Cons are work on 3 days and have to take day off to care their children.
• From pros and cons it is cleared that Sarah and Julie were qualified for the position. They could say that Sam decision for not hire them as discrimination because the only thing that differ them from Grant is that they bot are mother of children and could be discriminated on the basis of family responsibility.

There are also some theories, which we had studied in then class. Job design increases the value of the position to the organization, engages the worker and reduces individual and organization risk. It results in greater organisational effectiveness and efficiency and better outcome from the staff.

5.Factors to consider:
• First would be self-leadership as it enables the person to build the foundation from which they will take decisions on daily basis. Without strong self-leadership or empowerment people will feel out of control and unfocused.
• Second would be employee empowerment is a means by which individuals are given the authority to analyze situations autonomously and take proactive decisions.
• Employee evaluation is a tool used by managers to review an employee's performance.
• Reward for the each and every employee of the company.

6.Conclusion:
The job performed by the staff are the used for setting up for the foundations organizational structure. Job design is the important process of managing people. The way work is design can be a powerful factor for motivation and de motivation for the staff doing it. Job design recognizes the needs of the employee and organization. Financial rewards comes in may forms and can be used as motivator when is properly
