Veterinary Medicine Research Paper

Veterinary Medicine combines my talents and interests in animal care and science in a streamline and rewarding way. I have always enjoyed animal handling and have a sort of knack for it. Biology is a passion of mine and I would enjoy using this base skill for my future.

Choosing this career has always been a very natural choice for me. I have always lived on a ranch and been there to help with anything medical concerning our animals. From vaccinating dogs to helping pull calves, I have been lucky enough to get a lot of hands on experiences. Not only did I enjoy learning and acting in the moment, seeing an animal come back from ill health is incredibly rewarding to me. I also enjoy researching new procedures and breakthroughs in animal medicine

My interest in the veterinary field began when I was six, when I arbitrarily announced I was going to be a veterinarian simply because I loved animals. Since I was quite young at the time, I was unaware what the job actually entailed. Consequently, I was somehow under the impression that if I watched National Geographic and Animal Planet, then I could immediately become a veterinarian upon graduating high school. I was undeterred when I realized just how much time that needed to be dedicated to school, and instead, it motivated me to take challenging classes in high school and to pursue a job at an animal hospital.…
