Animals have been my passion for a long time and now that I have to start thinking about colleges and jobs, I decided that my main focus will be veterinary medicine, but at this moment in time, I do not know which branch to work in. For a long time, I wanted to work with all animals, ranging from cats and dogs to snakes and similar creatures but now I feel that I want to work primarily with big cats, like lions and tigers. While doing rotations a few medical practitioners and patients have given me a suggestion that I should become a zoologist to work with big cats but at the same time, I want to work at a cat sanctuary to help special needs cats from being euthanized. My only current struggle, besides from choosing a major in veterinary medicine, is my inability to not procrastinate daily and my communication skills, two major requirements for veterinary medicine.
