Veterinary Career Research Paper

University of Smith and Green, have you ever wondered what it's like to be a middle class undergraduate in today's economy? They say that education makes the population thrive, when most of the population find that they can barely afford post-secondary classes. To make matters worse, in order for me to become a veterinarian as it is my dream occupation, I have to go through years and years of animal science courses and veterinary school which will probably lead me to become broke until I start working. However, when I do get accepted into veterinary school, i'm planning to work really hard even though the nature of vet school is extremely difficult and comes with a ton of work. The thing that always fascinated my childhood brain whenever I took my dog to the veterinarian, is that people can actually save animals lives for a living, and that is why I want to be a companion veterinarian; To help and bring hope to pet owners and their animals who may not have it without a doctor to nourish them back to health. In no way whatsoever did I choose this career because of the money. Believe it or not, people don't go into this field to become billionaires, they go into this field to save lives, to learn, and to innovate the future of veterinary medicine. When I knew for sure that I wanted to be a veterinarian for a living, I jumped at every opportunity I could get. So far, I volunteered at a dog shelter, a horse ranch, raised funds for the humane society with a bake sale, and even job shadowed at a veterinary clinic! With that said, I have lots of experience on my hands already, but just like with any skill, you need teachers to push you to become the best you can be. Which proves that if I do get the scholarship to The University of Smith and Green, I will never take it for
