Did you know that The Animal Care workers earn about $50,480-$141,680 dollars per year? Veterinarians make a lot of money by helping animals that are sick or hurt. Veterinarians, also known as vets, work with a variety of animals. Some Veterinarians go to Colorado State University to study, it is constantly ranked the best university in the U.S. to become a veterinarian. Veterinarians also do lots of things.

Private vets earn about $90,000 dollars per year. If veterinarians are new the first year they earn about $60,000. There are small animal veterinarians they earn about $71,642 per year. Another one is large animals they earn about $68,933 dollars per year. Finally, there is the mixed practice vets ( they help both small and big animals) they earn about $62,327 dollars per year.

Types of Veterinarians/Animals

Did you know that there are different types of veterinarians? There are lots of different types of vets here are some examples of what type of vets do and what they work with. An Avian Practice vet help birds. A Equine Practice vets help horses. An Exotic Companion veterinarian helps ferrets, rabbits, mice, and rats. Canine/Feline vets helps cats and dogs. There are many more types of veterinarians but these are a few to get you started.

Education

To be a veterinarian, you need to have Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. You need to stay in school for 4 years because you need to study the parts of the animals and the medicine. You need to have a bachelor's degree.Only a few veterinarians go to CSU for vet school because it’s the top
