People from the front end of the Millennial Generation and people from before the Millennial Generation would mainly benefit from reading this work, as they are Tyler’s intended audience. Considering her list of effective ways to handle a millennial in the workforce, this work would especially benefit management teams of many companies by allowing management to understand the generation of their workers. This understanding will allow management to help develop the allegedly stunted decision-making processes of the millennials, giving the spectrum of new workers a broader sense of creativity and autonomy while working. Tyler’s informative work is filled with anecdotes claiming the dependence that millennials have on their parents as negative, and these stories shine light on the frustrations that come along with millennials working jobs with a heavy workload. Because of Tyler’s clear-cut background of the Millennial Generation and her informative processes on how to deal with millennials in the workforce, The Tethered Generation is an effective essay that informs the reader of the aforementioned generation and how to…

There is a high demand for vet techs and it will continue to grow. Surprisingly there is a 36% estimated growth rate in this field from 2008 to 2018 (Job Outlook for Veterinary Technicians, n.d.). This is partially due to the lack of two year degree vet programs, which doesn’t supply veterinary clinics with enough vet techs, and from people leaving or retiring from their job. Once a vet tech graduates they are almost guaranteed a…

My interest in the veterinary field began when I was six, when I arbitrarily announced I was going to be a veterinarian simply because I loved animals. Since I was quite young at the time, I was unaware what the job actually entailed. Consequently, I was somehow under the impression that if I watched National Geographic and Animal Planet, then I could immediately become a veterinarian upon graduating high school. I was undeterred when I realized just how much time that needed to be dedicated to school, and instead, it motivated me to take challenging classes in high school and to pursue a job at an animal hospital.…

The things that appeal most about being a veterinary technician is usually the flexible hours that they give, and being a veterinary technician has on the job flexibility. Vet technicians work hard to help their pets and to make their people smile. Veterinary Technicians have hands on training and hands on work all day while they are working. All veterinary technicians that I know and saw at work kept running back and forth through sugeries and appointments, I believe Veterinarians have it worse than them because they have to do everything including: Surgeries, prescription medicines, appointments, putting animals down.…
