Currently there is an understaffing, as well, in the Central Texas Veteran Health Care System, in addition the hospital has no room for incoming patients, so to compensate they created waiting lists. These waiting lists have created many problems. The most well-known issues entail long wait times, frauds with appointment scheduling, and people being lost in the highly outdated paper records the hospital attempts to create.
With the proposed solutions, it is hoped to reduce the number of patients on the waitlist at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System from 1,500 to less than 500. Doing this would reduce waiting times and more veterans would be able to be seen. …show more content…
