Each department in the Veteran Affair Medical Center work together and depend on one another for the quality of patient care. In the nursing department, where my position lies, each role is just as important as the other. The physician depends on the registered nurse and the nursing assistant to carry out orders that necessary for the care of each patient. The Registered Nurse and assistant depends the supply and laundry department for items necessary to complete their job in providing care. Each role depends on the function of another to provide the quality care need for veterans.
