When thinking about the quote “we become what we think about” , I can relate as a vet tech student. When I know I have a test coming up and I am not very familiar with the material I always tell myself well if I don’t know it by now what’s the point of studying I will never get it in time for tomorrow. Were on other days I will continually tell myself and remind myself I have to study, I need to study. I end up taking time out each day and by the time the test comes around I feel really good about myself an do well. Thinking about my goals and daily tasks make me accomplish them. I like the idea of writing a check to myself. It gives you a visual of your goals instead of a thought. Being a six year old learning to ride a bike was a huge challenge for me, but it was something that I just kept trying and trying over and over again because I k new that everyone knows how to ride a bike no matter how many times I would fall off I knew that is wasn’t an impossible thing. Now I look back at only a few months ago and I think nothing over it because I practiced and I learned many other harder injections to

We must learn to overcome any obstacles that may arise when it comes to learning because it is necessary to overcome obstacles in our life as well. If it is hard to deal with stress, then it is most likely going to be hard to be motivated and complacency may settle in as it becomes easy to get lazy and not do your work. During the first Study Skills Workshop, we learned countless lessons for college like, "Anytime you don 't complete an assignment it 's considered a failure" or "If you don 't have a clear reason to pursue something, you 'll never be motivated and determined enough to complete it," however I find myself believing the most important piece of advice given was: "Your attitude not your aptitude will determine your altitude." Because it can be easily applied to both your success in school and in real life. Your behavior determines where you go and how much you achieve, its not just how smart you are. If you posses both knowledge (which everyone has) and a positive approach in a university, you have the potential to succeed (be ranked on the Dean 's List) because you find ways to increase your intellect such as developing study skills. And so it was after completing the required classes, making friends right friends and graduating from the Educational Opportunity Program (2016) that I realized before school starts I need to create a study regimen that helps me identify my strengths and weaknesses but also challenges me to improve all lacking aspects of my study.…

Many people approach tests in many different ways. For instance, there are people who are relaxed and have confidence in themselves. While in the other hand, the other people are nervous and stressed on what is going to be on the test or even just the score they will earn. The way I approach tests is with confidence because a person should never doubt themselves no matter what type of situation you are in.
