I noticed a difference in the biome from October 26 to now. During the winter months, the climate is relatively cold and may contain ice and snow. Around October 26, the leaves were changing their color and beginning to fall. Also, the climate was not as cold as it was back in October. Now, the leaves are completely off the tree and have either fallen to the floor, blown away or the employees for the park have cleaned most of them up. Usually, animals from the different tropic levels can be found here. The first tropic level consists of primary producers, which is known to be plants. Plants surrounded the lake mostly. For the second tropic level, it consists of primary consumers, known to be herbivores as well. One specific kind of herbivores I observed in the park, like last time was squirrels. The squirrels were continuing to find food for hibernation. In the higher tropic level, most of the species are considered to be carnivores. I did not find carnivores throughout the park, but I am sure they exist there during the nighttime hours. The poor animals must be freezing during these horrible winter months, especially the ones who are unable to
