Verizon Verizon is a large firm that employees more than 188,000 people. The organization provides the United States with wireless network coverage, broadband fiber optic network, security, global internet networks and services, and video and advertising. The organizational structure of the company is a CEO with Executives underneath who cover all departments of the organization. Verizon is a rather stable company, but most recently they have been interested in the expansion of their FIOS network.

Financial Compensation- The salaries at Verizon are very competitive in relation to the market. Verizon utilized performance based incentives for its employees.

Benefits – Verizon offers a comprehensive medical plan along with a competitive 401k.

Google also makes devices such as phones, Wi-Fi, headsets, and other innovative technologies. Google is a large firm that operates internationally. The firm has an effective organizational structure and culture. Google groups employees buy the use of function and fiber. The structure is flat which means employees can bypass middle management and speak directly to the CEO. They offer such a wide range of services, which show that the company really cares about their employees. In an environment like that, I would definitely feel comfortable while also being very productive. The company that would be best suited for me would be Suez because of the field of work I want to go into. Suez seems like a very rewarding job being a project manager because you are truly making an impact. The company offers good benefits and compensation while being very sustainable.

Applying- In order to start preparing myself as an applicant for project management for Suez I need to improve upon my knowledge of methods, codes, negotiation, and operations analysis. I can gain more knowledge of project management through project management certification training. This training is offer at Ramapo College and takes a semester to complete. This course will help me with methods, operations, and negotiation. For the knowledge of codes I can attend other classes. Starting base salary for this position would be about 68k based on glassdoor.com, 58k on payscale.com, and 67k on salary.com.
