On September 07,2015 at approximately 7:22 PM I, Deputy Bowring, was dispatched to 108 Sells St. Yantis, Texas regarding a verbal dispute.
Upon my arrival, I spoke with Marklin Scott, who stated that Jay Sells had threatened him because Marklin had not paid his rent. Marklin stated that Jay told him that he was a bad mother fucker and he would get his rent money one way. After getting Marklin’s statement I made contact with Jay at his residence on county road 1700. Jay stated that he did go over to Marklins residence which is his rental property to try and collect rent. Jay stated Marklin become very agitated with him and made the comment that he would kill him. Jay stated that Marklin had made the comments before to him when he would go to
