Words can hurt as much as physical abuse; I was once a victim of verbal bullying. Seventh grade was tough for me and my friend Annie, we were known as the Twinkie and the calculator; I was the Twinkie. When I was first teased I did not let it get to me I did not let one insult interfere with my friendship. I thought it would only be one simple insult never did I imagine it turning into many insults. I was criticized for being Annie 's friend. People noticed me and realized how wordy I can be. Soon they came up with a nickname for me and that was Twinkie the girl who had the case of circumlocution. I was teased at everyday I was greeted as Twinkie, I was named called constantly in school I was called a geek, freak, a nobody. It was to much for me to handle I begged my parents to move but my father told me words may hurt but actions speaks louder than words. I then understood what my father meant. The next day I was greeted with the same name calling I Then hit my breaking point and had enough I stood up for myself and punched the last person who insulted me. My bravery led me to suspension but I was free. Nevertheless physical abuse a not so pleasant type of bullying. Being named called is one thing but being shoved into a locker is a whole different scenario. Annie was known for a calculator because she is Asian, smart , and wears glasses. One day Annie refused to do homework for one
