Space Programs to Venus My science fiction assignment will be about humans preparing to travel to Venus. In this paper, I wall talk about the Soviet Venera 9 mission. My science fiction paper will consist of ways for probes to survive on Venus long enough to work and restore Venus to what it is believed it was: an Earth-like planet. It will talk about the silicon carbide transistors which can withstand the extreme heat, nuclear batteries that can work on Venus as an alternative to solar and carbon sequestration, which involves pumping carbon dioxide underground in order to reverse greenhouse effects. With all of this equipment, Venera 9 was able to tell us that the surface of Venus had a temperature of 459 C, a pressure of 90 atmospheres and measured a surface radiation level of 100 W/m^2. Venera 9 only lasted 53 minutes on the surface of Venus, which demonstrates the extremely hostile environment, which the numbers above also show. The open camera also fell towards the ground making it impossible to see long distances. Another failure, though more expected, was the fact that Venera 9 only lasted 53 minutes on the surface of Venus. Coming up with a way to keep spacecraft on the surface of Venus longer will prove beneficial, but extremely difficult due to the extreme temperatures and low radiation intensity from the sun due to the thick atmosphere. Electronics fail at these temperatures and solar power is not an

He wanted people to understand and connect to his life story, which I did because I also grew up bilingual. I wanted to share the transition I went through from my elementary school years, which was tough, to my life right now because both experiences are interconnected. Both Rodriguez and I used antithesis, first person pronouns, and diction to convey the struggle that our younger selves went through and how it connects to our current perception of school and society.…

The treatment of sexuality is commonly used as a source of pleasure for the viewer when portraying the idealized woman. Women are constantly used in art for pleasure and the goddess of love, Venus, is frequently used as the perfect woman to gaze upon. Titian met the viewers’ attention when using Venus in his piece Venus of Urbino, 1538. However, another art painting attracted more attention when depicting a nude woman in a similar style of Venus, Olympia, 1863, by Edouard Manet.
