I would like to take a moment to thank the former President, Nicolas Maduro, the Vice President Jorge Arreaza, and the rest of the executive board but especially all the citizens of Venezuela who supported me all along. Our country, rich in history, has suffered in many aspects, but we have stood by strong. This suffering will come to an end. All of this will change and I, as the newly elected President, will do all that is needed in order for this to change for the better. It will surely be difficult, but it is possible and achievable in only a matter of years. We have to reconstruct our country little by little, but I will work with my board so that we meet all of our goals. We will not just be the excellent country of Venezuela we once were but much more.

I completely agree with the majority since a country that does not provide its citizens with the basic human needs, it is a highly dysfunctional country. We want to reverse this immediately. How can any government not believe when its citizens say they cannot easily access such items? There are mothers with newborn babies, infants, and toddlers who cannot find diapers. Diapers! If they do then they must show proof that they have a young child. In practically any country, this is not a problem so why does it continue being one in ours. I propose that we can change this by facilitating the restocking of products in stores. We cannot close our doors to countries willing to trade with us for items that through product specialization could be obtained in greater amounts. We need to allow the much-needed help and I wish to start trading again because it is highly beneficial to both parties. This will allow for products to be available in supermarkets around our
