In our world about 7 billion tons of carbon is released into our atmosphere every year through the work of emissions. Vehicle emissions are byproducts from the engine combustion process which exits the exhaust. These byproducts are highly toxic and dangerous to our planet. These emissions are a huge problem in our world today. We need to be more aware of these emissions caused by machines and vehicles because they are affecting life as we know it. Energy emissions are dangerous because they are a hazard to the health of people, they cause pollution, and is changing our ecosystem.
Vehicle emissions are dangerous because they are a hazard to the health of people. 1.When an average person is outside walking or even driving with the window down they are inhaling vehicle emissions. John Wargo of Yale University stated that emissions cause a various number of illnesses such as asthma, lung cancer and even diabetes.(EHHI p10). The elderly and children are especially at risk of getting one of these life threatening diseases. The research shows that every time we are walking outside we are at risk of harming our bodies with these vehicle emissions in the air we breathe. 2.When a vehicles engine combustion process occurs fuel is burned up and is released out the tailpipe.
