Imagine if the earth is a dining table of 10, 1 would be dying of starvation, 2 would have obesity. Half of the people would have a diet close to a vegetarian. However, they are decreasing. Strict vegetarians and Vegans would occupy a place at the table, but would have barely. The tortured flesh of the animals are becoming humans’ own flesh. Society should embrace a vegan lifestyle because it has great benefits. A vegan lifestyle is ethical, environmentally friendly, and healthier for the body.

It is lower in fat and cholesterol high in fiber, and nutrient rich, which helps prevent diseases such as obesity, heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or several kinds of cancer. Studies made by the American Dietetic Association, proves that vegetarian and vegan diets are associated with reduced risks for all of these conditions. According to Brown University, because vegetarians do not eat certain foods from their diets, they need to work to add in foods that will provide the nutrients found in meat products. By eating a variety of foods including fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, soy products, and grains, vegans can get nutrients without consuming any meat-based products. Nevertheless, several risks follow, so to keep a healthy vegan diet, one must be well planned in order to help prevent certain diseases.
In conclusion, society should embrace a vegan lifestyle because a vegan lifestyle is ethical, environmentally friendly, and healthier for the body. Man and nature is a companion. One must respect other living beings, the nature, and the earth. These days in society, personal well-being is what that matters most. However, in order to create a society where every living being can enjoy life, let's work on creating well-being for all, despite of difference. A vegan diet is the answer.
