A vegan diet is the best possible diet because it contributes to the prevention of diseases, makes the body feel more alive, and is less harmful to the environment. Having a vegan or vegetarian diet will decrease the chances of dying from heart disease because there is no unhealthy fat that can build up and clog up the arteries. Clogged arteries lead to heart attacks or strokes. A person living a vegan lifestyle can decrease the chances of getting type two diabetes. Since vegans tend to have less concentration of fat in their bodies, they have lower chances of getting type 2 diabetes. Obesity can be decreased long term by living a vegan lifestyle. The obesity rate of a vegan is nine times less than someone who is not vegan because vegans follow
