Vascular Surgeon is a healthcare specialist, that specializes in the diagnosis of medical management and surgical treatment due to the disorder of the blood vessels. A vascular surgeon treat all types of blood vessels outside of the brain and heart. People with varicose veins are patients that go to see vascular surgeons. They treat a large amount of people with aneurysms. There are other traumas that are associated with vascular surgeons as well. For example: gunshot wounds and knife wounds.

Vascular surgeons have came across plenty of cardiovascular problems during their years as surgeons. Some of them is life threatening and some are not life threatening. Some people can lose a limb, if they don't see a doctor as soon as systems begin.
