To do this a 1.00 L beaker was partially filled with water, then the channels of Vernier Pressure Sensor Kit were set up. The clear tubing was connected to the white rubber stopper, the white rubber stopper was twisted into the neck of the Erlenmeyer flask and it was ensured that the two-way valve above the rubber stopper was closed. After that, both the Erlenmeyer flask and the Vernier Pressure Sensor was secured on the ring stand with ring clamps. Once the equipment was set up, the syringe was filled with 3 mL of alcohol and it was put into the rubber stopper. The initial pressure and temperature was recorded for the first 10 seconds, after that one person opened the valve and injected 3 mL of alcohol then carefully pulled the syringe back to 3 mL and closed the valve below the syringe. Lastly, the sensor kit ran for 120 seconds to get the most accurate reading on the graph and the final pressure and average temperature throughout was recorded. The first day this process was repeated three times each with 2-proponal, ethanol, and methanol. On the second day of the experiment, the process was done three times with room temperature water in the 1.00 L beaker with 2-propanol, three times with water and ice in the 1.00 L beaker with 2-proponal, and three times with hot water in the 1.00 L beaker with
