A little over a decade has passed and vaporizing is already competing with traditional smoking, which has been in this world for many centuries. Smoking is inhaling and exhaling the fumes from burning tobacco in cigarettes and other products that use tobacco. Vaporizing, also commonly known as “vaping”, is inhaling and exhaling a liquid that is heated, that then emits the flavored vapor. Over the years, smoking cigarettes has become a “bad habit”, causing health problems that are short term and long term. Due to vaping being new to the mainstream, there are questions and concerns to whether or not vaping is truly better than smoking. Recent studies are showing that vaping may not be the healthiest alternative from smoking, yet it is the best out of both evils.
A cigarette contains six hundred chemicals before being lit, after being lit these chemicals are burned and produce over seven thousand more chemicals. Many of these chemicals are poisonous and are found in many other places, such as rat poison, rubber cement, battery acid, mothballs, rocket fuel, and even insecticide. In this situation, smokers are turning to ways to either stop smoking or to find an alternative. Those who are attempting to quit smoking turn to nicotine patches, because nicotine is the substance that makes them addicted to smoking cigarettes. Others are attempting to quit it "cold turkey". Some have switched from cigarettes to vaping, slowly weaning off of the nicotine substance with the nicotine vapor liquid. Quitting smoking may very well save their lives.
