Thesis: In Tucson there are large cases of vandalism each each year and graffiti is a huge problem in Tucson. In this essay we will talk about how graffiti is affecting Tucson’s community and environment. Also look at possible solutions to diminish this issue. Explanation:
Every year a total of 1,607 cases of vandalism happens each year and residents want to know why? In the last three years The Taking Action Against Graffiti (TAAG) abated a total of 1.3 million square feet of graffiti.
Evidence:
TAAG has responded to 3,300 calls of graffiti that has covered a total of 1.3 million square feet of graffiti in the last three years. Tucson News Now (TNN) reports over 850 calls and $73,000 in clean-up in 2015. TNN also reported tagging on San
