Has nearby bodies of water and mountains.

Including the Pacific Ocean and Grouse Mountain plus many more mountains, you can see and visit in Vancouver.

Vancouver has a lot of sun major cities.

August is the hottest month with the high being 64 degrees Fahrenheit and 18 degrees Celsius.

January is the coldest month with the low of 38 degrees Fahrenheit and 4 degrees Celsius.

Places and Entertainment

There are many places to visit in Vancouver some of these places are the Vancouver Aquarium, Queen Elizabeth Park, and British Columbia.

Some others include English Bay, Chinatown, and the Museum of Anthropology at UBC.

The most common languages spoken here are English, French, both of them, or neither.

Transportation

When you are in Vancouver you can travel by buses, bikes, line/ Skytrain rapid transit, sea buses, and of course walking.

If you are flying to Vancouver the estimated expenses for a round-trip flight would cost around $200.00 through $350.00 depending on which flight you book.

You can also travel by train, but it is even more expensive in most cases.

If you are planning on staying for a day or more you can stay in a hotel for around $40.00 through $150.00 depending on which one you go to.

Popular Food

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in Vancouver.

Some of the most popular food here is a JapaDog, BC. Rolls, and Salmon Candy.

Holiday Celebration/ Traditions
As well as the United States Vancouver Canada celebrates some of the same holidays including Christmas, Good Friday, Easter, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day.

Although Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October, so in 2018 (this year) their Thanksgiving will be on Monday, October 8th.

They also celebrate some holidays that we don’t including BC Day and Boxing
