The movie is like a Greatest Hits compilation; it's assembled like Frankenstein's Monster, from spare parts stitched together and brought to life with electricity, the movie also includes lots of computer-generated images. The plot is about Dracula's desperate need to discover the secret of Frankenstein's Monster, for that he can use it to bring his countless offspring to life. The main reason of why he needs this is because Dracula (Richard Roxburgh) and his vampire brides are all dead, they cannot give birth, of course, to live children.
The idea of vampires producing offspring is very interesting. But, if you think of it logical the sperms from Dracula and the eggs from the his brides are dead. So it would be impossible for the sperms and eggs to be active. The conflict of Dracula trying to gives life to his offspring makes the movie interesting in its own way. …show more content…
Here he's a professional monster-hunter who works for the Catholic Church in Rome. Van Helsing's costume design is him with a Phantom of the Opera hat and leather clothing. This design is well suited for this character and the type of work that he does. He then partners with a friar named Carl ( played by David Wenham) as his sidekick when he goes to Transylvania. Van Helsing's first assignment was to track down Mr. Hyde (Robbie Coltrane), who now lives in the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris and ventures out for murder. That job does not end as planned, so Van Helsing then moves on to the Vatican City to get instructions. When he reaches Rome he is then supplied with high-tech weapons by the ecclesiastical equivalent of James Bond's
