Van Gogh inspired himself to keep painting and had faith in himself that he could sell his paintings. In a video called “Van Gogh - In His Own Words!” it says that, “ ...Abundant and enthusiasm helped him learn,” This quote shows that he had 2 main things that inspired him learn to be an artist. He knew that these two things were going to help him along the way, along with believing in himself. In an article online that is called “Past Exhibition” from the Norton Simon Museum said , “His mental health sustained physical damage to his body from lack of eating and seizures , which self-imposed him to revealing some of his masterpieces.” This quote states that when he had his illness going on, it made him want to sell his masterpieces , that even while he was sick it made him want to believe more and do more.” He believed so much that he would get far that even his mental health helped him sell one of his masterpieces. Now you can tell that he wouldn’t even stop trying because of his mental health … it didn’t stop him it actually helped, when you would think it’s the other way
