The primary difference between Vampires and Zombies is that Zombies are able to walk in sunlight while vampires have to hide away until the sun is finished setting. Zombies eat flesh while vampires drink blood. Vampires come in hordes while zombies usually prey by themselves. Vampires have super strength and speed while zombies run with a limp at average human speed and can lift approximately 130 pounds. For example, in the show Vampire Diaries you never knew when a vampire would pop out of nowhere because they traveled at lightning speed from point A to point B. Vampires have more limitations dealing with sunlight and being ageless. For example, vampires must wear a ring that can only be made by a powerful witch that allows them to walk in the sunlight. On the other hand, if the ring is not to be created or worn for that certain vampire, then once the sunlight’s rays catch a glimpse of the vampires skin it will create excruciating burns. If not removed from the sun’s rays quick enough, their translucent skin will become scorching hot resulting their skin to catch on fire and killing them. While zombies are able to walk in daylight, that doesn’t affect them what so over. Moreover, a vampire being ageless restricts them from experiencing what they’d look like as they age. Resulting them being stuck at the same age they died at eternally. Not so much for zombies, they age no matter how long they’ve been dead for and disintegrating little by little as long as they’re still walking dead corpses. However, both creatures have to be welcomed into an owner’s property in order to enter; creating a safe sanctuary for the humans to hideaway in. For example, if a zombie or vampire rung a humans doorbell, asking to come in and use a bathroom or house phone, making up a lame excuse in order for the human to say yes, allowing them to come in their household.
