My personal values are congruent with the core values of Social Work by I believe in integrity and being truthful no matter how hard it might be. I have seen in my lifetime, when keeping something from someone has backfired. An example of this is when my older sister kept me in the dark on a personal matter about our family, and eventually I found out. I felt sorry for the homeless, but also knew there was more I could be doing. I helped my church feed the homeless, and we also donated clothing to shelters every year. When it comes to helping the homeless, and feeding the poor I am comfortable working with them, because I had experiences volunteering with them before. My life experiences and what I learned from church aid me in defining on what values I
