It has been said that a hero and his quest personify the dreams of the the society that spawned this hero. Given that premise, it is natural to wonder what values are reflected in the lion king. Values like the cycle of life, living a happy worry free life, the value of friends, and the reasonability of being a king. Let's start at the value of the cycle of life. In the movie it goes something like this, when you die you body becomes the grass. That grass feeds the herdorvies. Then the herdorvies are eaten by the carnorvies. Last but not least the carnorvies die and the cycle repeats all over again. The next value in living a happy worry free life. What is the point if you don’t have fun.
