He is notable for his involvement in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience based on his Christian beliefs. The sole things he used to fight with were signs and words. This is because he believed that violence in self-defence was wrong. The legendary “I have a dream” speech caused a sensory outcry even in the next generation. Tell not to mention that have 300 or 400 other awards--that's not important. Tell him not to mention where I went to school. Yes, if you want to, say that I was a drum major. Say that I was a drum major for justice. Say that I was a drum major for peace. I was a drum major for righteousness. And all of the other shallow things will not matter. A committee of scholars appointed by Boston University concluded in a report to the university's provost that, "but that Dr. King plagiarized in the dissertation by appropriating material from sources not explicitly credited in notes, or mistakenly credited, or credited generally and at some distance in the text from a close paraphrase or verbatim quotation." Hence, this means that Martin had committed plagiarism in some of his works .Although this was a mistake made by Martin, I believed it can be a learning lesson for me. From this, I learnt to be more prudent and cautious in my works and this can be achieved by ensuring that sources are correctly given credit for.
All in all, despite his flaws and his imperfections, Martin is still a role model to me because I learnt and took away valuable lessons from his diverse experience. Even though martin is not an early childhood educator and his work does not involve children, I strongly believe that these valuable lessons will be useful for me far and wide as I continue to explore the early childhood
