Value proposition in Patient Care
In the modern world of health care, organizations should be up to date on how to improve their value services within the hospital. Collectively, there are always different individual patients that seek for value proposition and integrity in the health environment of professionals that work in the perspective hospitals with patients while serving the communities locally and globally. I believe value-added service is a higher quality of structure because when you deal with patients, the ultimate goal of serving their needs has to be understood in order to provide the care. According to a New England Journal of Medicine article, Michael Porter makes a compelling case for defining, measuring and rewarding value in health care. Porter states,

These areas consist of customer service, emergency response team, quality assurance and improvement, and Employees. Customer service in healthcare or any other organization should be one of the priorities for patient care. This is one of the main issues that patients rely upon when dealing with staff within the hospital. When dealing with the staff members, the first impression that a patient receives from the staff when service is rendered makes a difference in their lives. As a customer service representative, one should greet the patients, visitors and guest politely, make them feel welcome, and respond in a timely manner when they arrive for medical attention.
The emergency response teams are highly trained to assist with situations that may arise at any given moment. The team will be of service 24 hours a day and they will make rounds within the hospital on the regular to assist the patients. In regards to quality assurance and improvement, the hospital will remain focus in compliance with the standards and requirements for a continuous initiative to provide excellent patient
