“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Nelson Mandela. The real question is, is college really valuable? Yes, of course it is because when you go to college there is less of a chance for unemployment and you make more money. The more education the less chance of unemployment there is for you. For example, “the rate of unemployment for workers with a bachelor’s degree was about half that of those with no education beyond high school,” (New school year, old story: Education pays). So that means people should go to college so they have a less of a chance to be unemployed. In the end though, being unemployed is something no one wants to be. Also, with higher education you have
