Value of College Education in this Country Not so long ago people were hardly ever doubt about college education. Many know that person who have college degrees were paid well and a promise of a successful career. Today, however, many claimed that college education in this country is a waste of time and money. It is too expensive and unaffordable, and yet unemployed college graduates are not able to find a job. A college education does not prepare individuals for a specific job’s skill as a "career education". A college education is the largest expenses that a student will ever face; still its benefits do surpass the cost. In this country today, despite the many struggles that college graduates go through, a college degree has never been more valuable. College education is the key tools in helping students achieve a higher career path. A college degree not only gives college graduates an advantage in employment, but it also increases the chance of various career paths. Moreover, workers who had at least a bachelor’s degree had a median weekly earning rate higher than the median rate of most Americans ("Employment Projection"). Even though tuition fees have significantly increased there are more people attending college than previous years. Most people believed that going back to college do enhance their skills, and the opportunity to increase earning potential.
