I would have wanted to quit because of all the diseases that were occurring and I wouldn't have wanted to be the one to either get sick next or die next so i'm not taking any risks. I mean would you. But with constitution on our side we could have more supplies like clothes, gunpowder, food etc. Already we have had 1,800 to 2,500 deaths due to illness that's almost half of our army.
We have to fight against not only the british but the cold harmful weather and the soldiers that are barefoot are losing toes due to frostbite, we have some soldiers that have rips and tears in their clothing and in their boots, that's not going to do them any good.9(Document C). Back to the illness there was no cure we have to cut off what's infected so how are we supposed to fight with no limbs? and that stuff spreads too, and it spreads fast at that.
