Valley forge was a hard time for The soldiers it was cold, They didn't have shoes or clothes they were even running low on supplies. george Washington tried to help as much as possible, but it was hard for him too.
the battle of valley forge took place 18 miles northwest of Philadelphia. They made their own little huts to live in but they had a little problem, it is winter and it is extremely cold, so they need heat, they made a fireplace in the huts, but the smoke wasn't going through the chimney right, so they had a house full of smoke which is bad for breathing and made their clothes smell like smoke.

this is the time that they need you the most “these are the times that try men's souls” (said by Thomas Paine in American crisis on document D) You are trying to gain freedom from great Britain and if you leave now you could be the reason for a loss. you're so close but yet so far away.the war could end tomorrow or it could end in 5 years, there is no saying. you are never guaranteed another day of life. when it's your time god will take you. So you have a hard decision. But you have to think is it worth the risk. will we win? Is the good equal to the bad? When it comes down to it, I would leave. too many loses too many deaths the British had too many reinforcements.at this time I wouldn't have expected the colonist top win the war so I would have left. this was hard times in hard conditions. The british were so powerful all they needed to do was trap you and they could finish you off. this war was a tragedy, i would have been sedcond guessing if its even worth it, as many lives have been lost. this is alot to consider and it is a hard desion, but i am not brave enpough to
