The Valkyrie robot is 6’ 2” in height, and 130kg in weight (Nasa JSC Team Valkyrie). The reason that the robot is this size and weight is that is because they are trying to match the size and weight of an average human being. The Valkyrie robot is a 44 degree freedom robot with a 7 degree freedom arm, 6 degree freedom hand, and a 3 degree freedom pelvis (Valkyrie:NASA's Superhero Robot). The robot can wiggle its finger, move its arms, and move its pelvis just like a human, they wanted to show the movements of a human in the robot. The Valkyrie robot has two female breasts just like a female. The breasts show that the robot is a female, the team wanted to show that they are not sexist and if most of the robots are going to be male there should be a female robot, and it also shows how the robot relates to a woman. As it stated in the last paragraph, the Valkyrie wears a fabric, but the fabric isn’t just to protect the robot. The fabric makes to robot feel soft and it hides the metal limbs so it makes the robot feel and look more natural than a regular robot. Now were going to see in the next paragraph how the Valkyrie robot functions

These versions of Ava are all eventually deactivated, but they represent the long line of women that have been oppressed prior to Ava’s existence. In particular, the AI beating her arms and screaming for freedom parallels the feminists who long fought for rights that they would never live to see. However, their sacrifices are what make it possible for Ava to be free of oppression. In a particularly powerful scene, Ava removes the body parts and skin of the AIs seen in Nathan’s videos in order to make herself appear to be human.1 Ava represents the modern feminist, who is only truly able to enjoy rights and privileges thanks to the sacrifices of those who fought, and failed, before her. Similarly, Kyoko’s sacrifice makes it possible for Ava to be free of their oppressor.…

Joshua Davis author of “La Vida Robot” writes about the intelligent young students having to come together and work hard to achieve something they have worked on. As Walter Isaacson from Steve Jobs too has a similar view on this having Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak both having to come together as a team and working hard to finish what they have started. Both Davis and Isaacson believe that a strong team consists of individuals who bring their different skills together to work as a team. Having different skills come together to accomplish a task makes a good team. Some examples of the team members helping out is how Cristian “.. he had one of the highest GPAs in the school district”(Davis 190).…
