Valentine Wiggin: An Analysis Of Valentine's Game

Throughout my reading I have decided to characterize a very warm-hearted human being who is known as Valentine Wiggin. To start, Valentine is a very intellegent person with the mind of a geniouse. When Peter and herself begain playing the roles of two made up characters- Demosthenes and Locke, she begain very well known in the nets. Playing as Demosthenes, Valentine would help spread ideas that could help change the world and find new solutions to world problems. An offer for a weekly aolumn in a pretty food newsnet” (Scott Card 135). Secondly, Valentine was even able to persuade Ender into coming with her on a colonization ship. If Ender came back to Earth, he would be “effectively under Peter’s control” (Scott Card 311). Ender would also never have time to rest. Peter would use him to his benifit, so he can take more power into his hands. Peter also has a lot of power back on Earth. If Ender would have gone back to Earth, not only would he be taken under control, Peter would have to power to make his life a living nightmare. Valentine is also a carring/loving indivisual. No matter what happened Valentine never forgot about Ender. She even celebrated Enders eighth birthday alone. “Valentine celebrated Ender’s eighth birthday alone” (Scott Card 122).
