Well, here I am again on another trip to another state. You know, if my parents had come we could have gotten the family deal, but I’m alone as always. “Hey honey, you riding alone again?” Asks the flight attendant.
“Ya.” I respond “my parents couldn't come.”
My parents are always so busy working that the don’t even have time to talk to me. I’m always on some kind of trip or vacation, I guess my parents are making a sad attempt to make it up to me, well it isn’t working. Going on vacations all the time is awesome, but if I have no one to spend the vacation with it isn’t as fun, All I really want is to go home. I’M HANGING OFF THE EDGE OF A CLIFF!” I scream into the phone.
“don’t worry, I am going to get you out of this!” She assures me.
The phone then starts to crackle and a pop up comes onto the screen saying “caller busy.”
A couple of minutes later I hear a grinding sound and I feel the taxi start to raise upwards. I feel a wave of relief as the car scrapes against the rock and onto flat land. I look out the back window and see the suited man get out of the jeep and unhook the tow chain from the taxi, he then climbs back into the jeep and drives off down the road. Then, almost immediately after he is gone, an ambulance accompanied by a couple of police cruisers roll up. They get out and start asking questions like: “did you see the man that did this?” And “can you describe this person, his car, and recall his plate?” I answered all of their questions and after what felt like forever they drove me straight back to the airport. After two hours of on-the-road questioning I finally got back to the airport where I was greeted with the largest (and probably first) group hug of my life. The whole plane ride back was filled with time to, at long last bond with my
