Yarmouth, a town in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is a great place to go on vacation and spend time with family. Only about 2 hours from Boston, it is located just 26 miles from the Bourne Bridge and 22 miles from the Sagamore Bridge.
A day at the beach is a must when visiting the Yarmouth area, and there are several beaches to consider visiting.
The most popular beach in Yarmouth, Seagull Beach, is also the largest. It is a very clean and beautiful family beach. It has a large parking lot, clean bathrooms, showers, and a snack bar. It does get very crowded, but if you arrive early enough, there is plenty of parking.

With ice cream flavors named after each location, this is a great place for tourists to grab a sweet treat. Caffe Gelato Bertini is another great place to eat. Located in Hyannis, just outside of Yarmouth, it has delicious gelato in many different flavors. On a hot day, a trip for some ice cream is the perfect thing to do.
There are several places in Yarmouth to go fishing with friends and family. You can launch a boat onto the water, fish by crab creek, or off of one of the beaches with fishing areas. If you don’t want to fish at crab creek, many people like to go crabbing. Tourists either buy crab traps, or simply tie some chicken on a string and throw it in the water.
