I have attempted to understand the complexities of it, from the designs to the building and from the parts to the program, but these have shown themselves to be a different experience compared to the more athletic and outspoken events in the world of high school competition. Overall, I have learned much from it, but whether or not I needed this knowledge remained to be clear. I had chosen to attend a one day Robotics class at a local technical college. The purpose of doing so was mostly for enjoyment, and I had not planned on it, causing such a significant role later on in my life. I walked into the room and saw boxes of parts, giant machines, and walls lined with computers, causing thoughts to wander into my mind as to what all of it could be for. Before I had adequately grasped what was happening though I was thrust into an adventure with a teammate to use a mass of parts on the table before us to create a functioning robot.
