At VCERA, our goal is to help you understand how your retirement plan works, and what you can expect as a VCERA member throughout your career in public service. The VCERA Defined Benefit Plan is funded by contributions made by you and your employer. The Plan is designed to provide a secure, lifetime retirement benefit for employees of the County of Ventura, Ventura County Courts, Ventura County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) and Ventura Regional Sanitation District (VRSD) and VCERA.
