The VARK learning styles explain that everyone is unique and has different ways of learning. VARK stands for V-visual is one who learns from pictures, maps, images, using cards, and seeing information. She understands that even missing one day of school can be a major set-back, this being the case Navneet stays very motivated to learn constantly. The way Navneet learns is by looking at these maps, graphs, flow charts, labeled diagrams and understanding them, after gathering information she then applies this knowledge in real life experiences. As defined in VARK, kinesthetic learning is related to the use of experience, people who prefer this mode are connected to reality either through solid personal experiences or simulations. It includes demonstrations, simulations, videos and movies of “real” things as well as case studies, practice and applications. The way this learning strategy applies to Navneet is that she learns best by watching and being hands-on. She uses the experience of visual learning in real life and then practicing it.
